Armando Lambruschini
Armando Lambruschini was an admiral in the Argentine Navy and served under the Junta that governed Argentina.  His role in the Dirty War perpetrated during the dictatorship led to charges of numerous crimes, including murder, illegal arrests, torture, theft, and forgery. The second time he was convicted his age earned him the benefit of house arrest which he remained under until his death on August 15 2004 at the age of 80. The character of Armando is named after him and based very slightly on him particularly his clothing and rank.
